Michael Koren is a successful writer with a string of bestsellers behind him, but he no longer believes in literature or words. When he is invited abroad to receive a prestigious literary prize, he leaves his pregnant wife behind and struggles to decide how much honesty he can reveal in his speeches and at the ceremonies.
Around him, almost unnoticed, another fateful story unfolds: a group of apocalypse survivors, connected to Michael without knowing it, barricades itself in an atomic shelter and fights for its life against a new danger that could bring down what remains of its world.
In his newest and most personal novel, Yoav Blum asks sharp questions about the value of literature as part of human existence.

Yoav Blum tells the story of a successful writer who has lost faith in the power of words, and through this literary act itself, he proves just how much a good book can change reality.
